Evan Wilson, WVU Extension Service Agent, speaks with Wayne County students about
the important work bees and butterflies achieve by pollinating plants.
Did you know the Monarch caterpillar can only eat Milkweed leave?
Milkweed is often seen as a weed in pastures and hay fields, as it is toxic to livestock. With many people removing milkweeds from their agriculture fields, it takes a collaborative effort to establish new habitat for our pollinators.
