National 4-H Congress and Conference Resume Information Now Available

Are you interested in meeting 4-H members from the nation, taking part in interesting workshops, and exploring a new area? If so, you should consider completing a 4-H Resume to be considered to attend National 4-H Congress or Conference as a West Virginia delegate.

The West Virginia State 4-H Program will be offering a Level 1 County Instructor Training. It will be held February 21-23, 2020 at Jackson's Mill State 4-H Camp.

Monongalia County 4-H Adult Camp Counselor Applications Available

Applications are now available for adult camp staff at Monongalia County 4-H camps in 2020.

This application does not guarantee your selection as a staff member and you will be notified later this spring as to the status of your application. In order to be considered as a Monongalia County 4-H Camp Staff Volunteer, you must have a completed 4-H Volunteer Application, 4-H Volunteer Code of Conduct, and all the necessary volunteer vetting items on file in the Monongalia County WVU Extension Service Office.

Monongalia County 4-H Teen Counselor Applications Now Available

Teen Counselor applications for Monongalia County 4-H Camp 2020 are now available.

Please use the following to apply to serve as a TEEN COUNSELOR at Monongalia County 4-H younger and day camps this summer. If you are 18 years old (or will be by June 7, 2020), DO NOT complete the below. You will be asked to complete an adult staff application. Adults are STILL SELECTED to serve at camp based on need, so there is no guarantee that you will be selected as camp staff. You must be 15 by January 1, 2020 to serve as a teen counselor at younger camp and 12 by January 1, 2020 to serve as a teen counselor at day camp. You must have been a camper for at least 2 years before being considered to serve as a counselor. It is highly recommended that those applying to serve as younger camp counselors complete at least two years as a day camp counselor. This is a highly competitive process with very few spots and your selection is not guaranteed.
