The Davis-Michael Scholars Program of the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association invite interested high and middle school students, college students, parents, guidance counselors and science teachers to the Ninth Annual Veterinary Career Day.
This educational event begins at 9 a.m., and ends by 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.
There is no cost to attend this event. Registration forms can be found online at http://go.wvu.edu/vetday and must be completed by October 6, 2018. Those with allergies should understand that live animals may be a part of the day.
The day’s program will provide an overview of the Davis-Michael Scholars Program, involving faculty in the Davis College and Davis-Michael Scholars. We will also introduce you to many of the career tracks available with a veterinary degree, how to apply for the Davis-Michael Scholarship, requirements to gain admittance to WVU and Veterinary Colleges, how the West Virginia Student Contract Program works and answer any questions about these topics and more. We are very excited about this program and hope you will plan to attend.
Please call 304-293-1951 if you have any questions.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday, October 20, 2018.
