Monongalia County 4-H Archery Club

We are excited to have started a new Monongalia County 4-H Archery Club which will be led by Allison Himes. This club is for youth aged 9-21 and you do not need to be a current 4-H member to attend. For more information on how to join, please contact Becca.

WVU Davis-Michael Ninth Annual Veterinary Career Day

The Davis-Michael Scholars Program of the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association invite interested high and middle school students, college students, parents, guidance counselors and science teachers to the Ninth Annual Veterinary Career Day.

This educational event begins at 9 a.m., and ends by 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Volunteer Leaders Weekend

State 4-H Volunteer Leaders Weekend will be held at Jackson’s Mill the weekend of November 2-3. The purpose of this conference is to provide leadership training and recognition for adult 4-H volunteers.

There will be lots of great workshops to attend. Registration is due by October 19 to the Monongalia County Extension Office. Monongalia County 4-H volunteers should contact Becca or Linda if you have additional questions or are interested in attending.

Monongalia County 4-H Camp Planning and Teen Leader Meeting

Are you interested in helping plan the activities we do at 4-H camp? Do you want to help pick the camp theme? If so, please join us at camp planning meetings. These meetings are open to all 4-H youth and volunteers in Monongalia County and are held the third Thursday at each month beginning at 6 p.m. The first meeting will be on October 18.
