Monongalia County Fair
The Monongalia County 4-H Program is excited to exhibit 4-H members’ projects at the 2018 Monongalia County Fair. In order to exhibit, youth enrolled as regular 4-H members will complete and turn in 4-H exhibits to the Hazel Ruby Building at Mylan Park on Monday, July 30, from noon to 4 p.m. (Project books are due to the Extension Office by June 1, 2018) . 4-H members may also drop off non-food exhibits at the Extension Office the week before the Fair -- July 23-27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
4-H exhibit check-in will be with the culinary and craft check-in on Monday, July
30, at the Hazel Ruby Building. 4-H exhibits can be picked-up the Saturday night
of the Fair. All exhibits that are not picked up on Saturday night will be transported
to the Extension Office and must be picked-up the week following the fair at the
Extension Office by 4-H Club Leaders, who will then distribute exhibits to club
members. Food exhibits will be thrown away and project books and ribbons will be
returned to members/club leaders. The club leaders will be given the projects,
so please pick-up exhibits from your club leaders, if they are not picked-up at
the Fair on Saturday night.
The Monongalia County 4-H Program is not responsible for any damage to the exhibits: please use your best judgment when creating exhibits for the Fair by not using heirloom or valuable materials.
