State 4-H Volunteer Leader’s Weekend

Who: Adult 4-H volunteer leaders, 18 years and older,  who serve as volunteers are encouraged to attend. Let’s travel together!

When: November 3-4, 2017

Youth Livestock/Equestrian 2017-18

Feeder calves, market goats, market lambs, and market hogs must be born after November 1, 2016.


The Livestock Show &  Sale will be in conjunction with the Mineral County Fair.

Youth Talent Needed

Youth volunteers  are needed to present their talent as a part of the 2017 4-H Achievement Banquet on November 6.  This is a great opportunity to share your talent with the 4-H community.  Individual, team and group talent performances are welcome!  Please call Margaret 788-3621 if you are interested or email m.miltenberger@mail.wvu.edu.

4-H Volunteer Training

ALL current 4-H volunteers and new volunteers are REQUIRED to attend training to serve during the 2017-18 4-H club year. There are two training date options at the Mineral County Health Department:

Register for Dining with Diabetes School

There is still time to register for the Dining with Diabetes Cooking School! Call the WVU Extension Office 304-788-3621 to register today!  

Dining with Diabetes is sponsored in Mineral County by the WVU Extension Service, Potomac Valley Hospital, Mineral County Family Resource Network (MCFRN) and Mineral County Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS).
