Hancock County Part-time 4-H & Youth Program Assistant

The WVU Hancock County Extension Office will be accepting applications for a part-time 4-H and Youth  Program Assistant. This part-time position is headquartered in New Cumberland, West Virginia, and works as a member of the WVU Hancock County Extension Office within the WVU Extension Service (WVUES) as an employee of Hancock County Commission. Under general supervision of the supervising Extension Agent, this position assists with programs in the areas of 4-H and youth development.  Individuals must work 4-H camp during the summer which includes overnight stays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma. Associate Degree in communications or another related field or equivalent preferred.
  • One-year experience working with youth development programs. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass a required criminal background check due to working directly with youth.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
