  • Level: Certificate
  • Minimum Hours Required: 18 Hours
  • Method of Course Delivery : includes presentation, classroom discussion, student interaction, and hands-on demonstrations, instructor-led (not online)

Core Courses

  • CSS-GI* - General Industry Certified Safety Specialist CSS-GI completion
*CSS-GI must be issued through WVU Safety & Health Extension.

Elective Course Options

  • OSHA #501 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry (26 Hours)**
  • OSHA #503 - Update for General Industry Outreach Trainers (18 Hours)**
