OGTAC – Hydrogen Sulfide Trainer Course

Course Description

This trainer course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to educate employers and employees on the hazards associated with H2S. The course is designed for personnel interested in conducting Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) training for companies in the petroleum industry or those with H2S present at their facilities. Special emphasis is placed on API Recommended Practice 49, API Recommended Practice 55, ANSI Z390.1 and OSHA 1910.134, 1910.1000 and 1910.1200. The course is designed to meet Hydrogen Sulfide Train-the-Trainer requirements of ANSI 2390.1.

(Prerequisite: SafeLandUSA Instructor and/or OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer)
